I started CrossFit in 2017 after my husband introduced me to it, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Over the years I had tried so many different types of workouts, but nothing ever stuck. With a background in dance through high school, movement was always part of my life, but after having kids I realized I needed something that was mine again. CrossFit became that turning point for me. It gave me a hobby, a community, and most importantly, it made me feel strong and powerful—both inside and outside of the gym. Now, as a CrossFit Level 2 Coach with additional certification in Coaching The Aging Athlete, I’m passionate about helping others find that same sense of strength and confidence. My favorite part of coaching is showing people they’re capable of so much more than they think. Watching someone surprise themselves never gets old. Coaching allows me to give back what CrossFit gave me: a place to grow, believe in myself, and feel proud of what I can do.
