About Coach

I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 10 years, but my journey started pretty simply: a friend opened a CrossFit gym and told me to show up because I’d love it. He was right. From the first day, I was hooked on the challenge, the community, and the constant opportunity to get better. Why I Coach: I coach to challenge people to improve every single day — whether that means getting physically stronger or just helping them leave the gym in a better mood than when they walked in. Being part of someone’s progress, big or small, is what fires me up. Coaching Philosophy: My goal is to put athletes in the best position to succeed. That might mean helping refine a movement, encouraging someone to push a little harder, or guiding them toward a smart, safe approach for the day. I love seeing athletes realize they’re capable of more than they thought. Favorite Moments as a Coach: Watching people hit PRs and achieve movements they once thought were out of reach — from first pull-ups or push-ups all the way to muscle-ups — is hands-down the best part of coaching. Why Wildfire: The Wildfire community has been incredibly welcoming since my wife and I joined in 2020. We were looking for a new gym, reached out, and Tiffany sent us the link to join online during the gym’s virtual phase. After four weeks of remote classes, finally meeting everyone in person was a blast, and we’ve been all-in ever since. Athletic Background: I grew up playing every sport I could. In high school, I focused on football and baseball, and I had the privilege of playing football at Marist College for four years. Fun Fact: In 7th grade, I did gymnastics and was offered a spot on a competitive team. I turned it down to play baseball — gymnastics would’ve been year-round!
