There was a moment during this year’s CrossFit Open at WildFire CrossFit that perfectly captured why we believe so strongly in starting fitness young.
One of our young athletes stood on the gym floor looking at the workout ahead. It was challenging — the kind of challenge that makes you pause for a moment and wonder if you can actually do it.
Standing beside them was their parent.
The day before, that parent had completed the exact same workout in class. Now they were helping judge their child’s effort, counting reps, cheering them on, and guiding them through each movement.
Coach nearby. Community cheering. Encouragement everywhere.
And that young athlete rose to the challenge.
They pushed harder than they thought they could. They stayed focused. They finished proud.

One of the most special parts of WildFire CrossFit is the family environment we create.
Kids are coached closely to ensure they move safely and develop great technique. They are encouraged, supported, and celebrated every step of the way.
Parents are part of the experience too.
Watching parents judge their kids during the CrossFit Open this year was one of my favorite moments. Many kids were doing the same workout their parents had done the day before.
Parents counted reps.
Coaches guided movement.
The gym cheered them on.
It was a powerful reminder that fitness can be something families experience together.

We offer structured youth training programs designed to help kids build strength, coordination, and confidence in a supportive environment.
Young Athlete Program
Tuesdays & Thursdays — 4:30 PM
Our Young Athlete program focuses on athletic development, strength, agility, coordination, and overall fitness to support kids involved in sports or looking to become stronger and more capable.
CrossFit Kids
Wednesdays — 4:30 PM
Sundays — 10:45 AM
CrossFit Kids classes are fun, engaging workouts that introduce movement skills, teamwork, and fitness in a positive and encouraging environment.
All classes are coached by experienced trainers who specialize in helping kids move well and enjoy fitness.
